School Holiday Fun

Smiths Lane Hub has an exciting lineup designed for creativity, exploration, and outdoor fun:

  • Park Games — Classic park favourites: tug-of-war, three-legged races, obstacle challenges and more.
  • Mystery Hunt — Junior detectives, this one's for you. Solve riddles, follow clues around the Hub and see who can crack the case first.
  • Science Lab — Crazy colours, big bubbles, fizzy reactions, interactive experiments — hands-on science to delight all ages.
  • Threatened Species Encounter — Meet amazing local wildlife: squirrels, gliders, frogs, snakes, and more. Learn what makes them special and how to help.

Cost: $5 per child — redeemable as a $5 voucher at Humble Merchant Café @ Smiths Lane.

More Green Space Coming Soon to Smiths Lane
Adding to the three parks already open in Smiths Lane, Clara Park is now complete and open to the public with a grand opening on 20th September. For those with furry friends, we’re pleased to let you know that the Dog Park construction is forecast to commence in March 2026. You can also expect to see some activity around the town centre and stage 17 with construction commencing soon for two new parks in these locations.
